20 TV Shows With the Most Social Media Buzz This Week

It may come as no surprise that last week’s Stand Up to Cancer celebrity telethon received more than two million social mentions. The special aired on dozens of networks around the world, including ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC.
As the first-ever social cancer telethon, viewers were encouraged to contribute to the conversation through the event’s Interactive Media Bank. Nearly 100 celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Alicia Keys, Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts volunteered for and performed at the event. Some even retweeted their favorite viewer comments, which contained hashtags #SU2C or #IStandUpFor.
